1. Is it important to have support in order to make the changes I want?

Hey life is all about relationships and connecting with people, and giving and receiving support is a fundamental part of that.  Most of us have times of feeling uncertain and low on confidence and this is when having support is a great advantage.  Mind you, it’s also nice to have support people around to celebrate with when you take a big leap forward too.  The need for ongoing support is the very reason I created this website.  The Mentoring Programme is designed to be one invaluable source of ongoing support. I hope you will be so enthusiastic about what you learn here that you will want to share it with others!

2. Do you provide individual coaching?

The intention of this website is to provide you with the information, resources, ideas, activities and contacts that allow you to define your own journey and go at your own pace.  However, I also know that there are times that it’s really important to get access to clear and structured support.  So, everyone who joins the mentoring programme gets free Power Calls, which give you direct access to me in person.  You are also welcome to attend the many workshops and events offered through Well Within Me.

3. How will I know if the activities are right for me and my lifestyle?

There are hours of activities outlined free for you on this site, so you can see how it works.  All you need to do is make some space in your day to give these exercises a go.  I have developed these ideas and activities after working with lots of different people with a vast range of lifestyles.  So, I am confident you will see something in them that will help you find the “well within you” and create the energy you want regardless of how busy or unique your life might be.  The mentoring programme is also designed to allow you to work at your own pace and in your own way, so you can tailor the activities to meet your current situation.

4. How do you get people to commit to making positive changes?

Well if you are visiting this site, my guess is you are already committed.  So, the information, support and resources available here are simply going to tap into that commitment and help draw the best out of you.  You are in charge of your own “well” and our role is to give you everything we can to support you to do that job WELL! Having a buddy can be really helpful to keep you motivated and committed and I recommend you get one now, if you haven’t already.  But, the Power Calls are also there to use when perhaps you lose focus, need that extra nurture or support, or perhaps even a wee kick in the tail!  There will also be opportunities to connect with other Well Within Me members, who will be sharing their own version of your journey.

5. How will doing this programme make a difference to my everyday life?

It’s hard to answer this in exact detail because we are all different.   But our aim here is to take you on a journey that leads to increased energy, confidence, self-belief and clarity about who you are and what you want to do with your life.  Achieving this will allow you to feel more in control of the life you live and more positive about the choices you can make.  You may sometimes feel like you are living reactively and just surviving by getting through the grind of everyday life.  Imagine then how different you might feel everyday if you were centred, relaxed, and in charge of creating the life you want.  Now that’s worth working for isn’t it!!

6. How much time do I have to commit?

The mentoring program is delivered to you as an email once a week. Once you receive this email it will take you about 20-30 mins to read through the information. There will be some suggested activities for you to do. The time you spend on these will depend on how committed you want to be to that particular topic. Did you know that if you do something for 10 minutes a day for 10 consecutive days, you begin to form a habbit.  So, ideally, I would encourage you to read through your E-class and create at least one daily activity (one 10/4/10).  But, if things get really busy at any point, the good news is that you can always come back to it later.

7. How do you stay focused on developing the Well Within You?

“Walk the talk” is my motto, so I have a daily practice of something that helps me reflect on myself and invest in my own growth.  Does this mean I am selfish or self-indulgent?  NO!  In fact the opposite is true, in that this practice gives me an increased sense of centredness and energy, and makes me more considerate of and generous toward other people.  There’s a lovely book I would recommend to you by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Howard Cutler, called “The Art of Happiness” (Hodder, 1998).  In this book (page 17) they talk about studies that demonstrate this very thing.  I also find it really helpful to go back to my “why” question…”Why am I doing this?”  My personal answer is that it’s a better world when I am connected with my own heart, I am compassionate toward others and I am generous with everyone I come into contact with everyday.  That’s a great way to refocus!!

Questions Regarding The Mentoring Program

8. How long does the mentoring program run for?

You can stay a member of the mentoring program for as long as you like. You will receive a lesson every week, and if you feel they are no longer useful, you can cancel your membership just by logging into your member profile at www.wellwithinme.com to completely cancel your membership.

9. Can I get access to some of the later lessons as I want to fast-track the process?

Yes, you can certainly arrange to get more than one lesson per week if you’re a fast learner!  However, the lessons are designed to be worked through at a steady pace to ensure you get the maximum value out of each lesson.  But, the choice is yours, so Just email us and we can fast-track you.

10. Can I access to previous lessons regardless of when I join?

When you join our mentoring program, you start at the beginning and receive a new email every week, which will provide you with access to the next lesson. You always have access to them while you’re a member of the program, so you can view them as many times as you want to.  So, the process is structured to ensure you start at the beginning when you join up and that way, you won’t miss anything.

11. Do you have a confidentiality policy regarding information that I share with you?

Rest assured we don't want to be caught in a "conflict of interest" with any of the members. We know that it's important that you feel comfortable sharing the details of your projects with us. Most of our members do, but there are some who prefer to discuss things in more general terms - it's entirely up to you.

You may find that after working with me for a while you will begin to feel more comfortable sharing more details. Please be guided by your own feelings - we won't be offended if you choose to keep things to yourself or you choose to share information in a non-identifying manner.  It’s really important to us that you feel comfortable before you share anything private and we respect your right to choose.

12. Please explain more about how the program works.

We took a lot of time to plan it so that the system would be extremely easy for people to follow. The lessons are structured in an easy to follow, step by step, logical sequence.  We definitely did not want to be one of those websites that says "here is lots of information – now figure out what to do with it yourself”!

If you join the mentoring program and consistently apply the information in the lessons as they arrive each week, you will soon develop a positive practice of investing in your own personal development.  This will enable you to feel more positive, motivated and energised.  It’s all about taking positive action!
The first few weeks will build a strong foundation and help you to get really clear about what you want to achieve through this process.  You will also receive activities and exercises to do in the first 10 weeks that are designed to draw out your intentions, goals and aspirations, motivations and strengths.
Then the lessons go into themes that may run over several lessons, such as understanding your unique context, energy and how to use it effectively, nurturing yourself and others, touch and its impact on our relationships, relaxation and meditation, how to understand and manage our emotions, and turning good ideas into positive action.

The following is a sample list of topics which are covered in the lessons.

Questions Regarding The One-on-One Sessions

13. Can I ring you for a chat?

Unfortunately, I don't have time to receive calls whenever you may want to chat.  However, all members are entitled to Power Calls during which we can discuss anything you like and these Power Calls give you time to talk directly with me in person.  This is a great service which you will find very few people offer in this manner.
I hope these questions and answers have helped. If you'd like to join the mentoring program, we'd love to have you as a member.  You can join by simply visiting http://www.wellwithinme.com/Signup
